I have a session booked this week and was wondering how we get the pictures. Wife is an AP holder with photo pass add-on, can we get the pictures there? Also, is it customary to tip the photographer? Figured since it’s a more specialized photo session then makes sense too, but just wanted to know if they can even accept tips and if people have tipped them. Thanks!

We just did this a few weeks ago at MK, so here is what I can tell you. If you are an AP holder with photo pass (like we are), you'll have access to any photos they take. We had some amazing shots. They even threw in a few Disney 'stock' photos for the 50th, which are amazing. All included with your PP. We had a photographer and an assistant to help with traffic control. We had tip money ready and asked. They both declined the tips. They said instead of a gratuity, if we were happy with them to please stop by Town Hall and mention their names.

Did you do 1 session or 2? How did you like the photos? Did they take you to more than one spot? Where did they take the pictures? Sorry to ask all the questions but the DW and I are wanting to do this in Sept for our 49th anniversary. Trying to decide between 1 or 2 sessions.

One session. We did most at the castle, but she moved us to the front and also to the sides. She seemed very open to suggestions, if we had any. Most of the photos were outstanding, especially since we had a little one with us. The little one was easily distracted, and not only did she get some great shots with her patience, she got some great shots while the little one was looking elsewhere, distracted by Disney music or the horse carriage. 2 sessions would have been too long for our group, but you might really like the extra time - especially if you have a place you specifically want to get to for more shots. If you'd prefer the Haunted Mansion or Space Mountain, for example, I'm sure they can do that for you if you get a double session. She really knew what she was doing. In total, we probably had 80-90 photos. If you are doing an anniversary shoot, she might offer some special 'magical' shots for you, too.

We did a session in early January and brought home some great photos. It was just my daughter and myself. I was really happy we did it, as the shots we got with regular Photopass in front of the castle the day before were so congested with people. We did the first session we could get at 8:45. Early entry was 8:30. They were very open to suggestions. I just wanted castle/50th anniversary shots. She also took us up the path to the side of the castle that wasn't open yet for the day. We did shots by the Jac/Gus 50th statues, in front of the castle, by the Cinderella fountain, behind the castle and by Cinderella's wishing well. Here's my favorite shot.

Could you maybe post a couple more shots? Just looking to see what it's like. Thank you, the photo is lovely!

Well, I'll try to add a couple more later. Right now it keeps rejecting even my lower resolution copies as too large. Anyone know if there's a secret to this? I add larger photos every day to the photography threads with no issue.

Thank you very much, great photos! We will definitely be trying to book this for our Sept trip. Thanks again, mom2rtk!
