Question on Boatwrights At POR Riverside

We are coming in October for a short week. I made an ADR for Boatwright's since we are staying at POR Riverside. My concern is that there don't seem to be any recent reviews, and the ones I did find were not that positive.

1. Has anyone been there recently, and how was it?

2. Would there be a better TS experience for the 5 of us with 1-13 year old and 2-6 year olds? The menu here seems a little limited, or is it typical?

Thanks, and I have really learned a lot here. Wish we had the info I've gained here when we made our first trip.

We had our Thanksgiving meal at Boatwrights last year, and really enjoyed it! We ate from the special Holiday menu, so I can't speak for the variety of regular menu. But we had great service, and enjoyed the atmosphere. I can't say it was a dining experience that stood out in the memory of my family much, but we enjoyed it that day and had absolutely no complaints about our meal.

I would eat there again without hesitation if I was staying at POR or POFQ, but I wouldn't make a special trip for it. There are just so many places to eat, and we usually try to explore our resort and surrounding area during our stay!

I think it's fine, but I'm boycotting because they stopped serving breakfast.

We stayed POR in December and didn't get a chance to try it, but it was PACKED whenever we walked by it each night.

We ate there in may and was pleasantly surprised- the food,service and atmosphere were all very good. We plan to make it our 1st night dinner every time now when we stay there.
