If BB is closed starting October 23, is it a good bet it will be closed until mid-December like last year?

I'd say yes. Last year it was closed from Oct 24 through Dec 11. In 2003 it was closed from Oct 26 through Dec 13.

I thought I heard on the rumours board that it was Typhon Lagoon that was going to be closed November and December. Will they close both at the same time?? I hope not!!!!!

Don't know about rumors, but according to the WDW official website, BB is closed starting Sunday, October 23.

Don't worry, they would never close both at the same time. TL will close when BB reopens in December.
