Hi - we purchased ten day no expiry last year for us and DD. now, DS is turning 3 soon and we want to buy an AP for him.

Questions we have are: 1) Can we buy Ap just for our 3 yo? 2) If we buy AP for 3 YO, can we get a DDE card for that AP? and 3) since we are thinking of booking a room through non DVC (since everything DVC is booked) can we use the 3 YO AP for room discounts?

I know a lot of questions - thanks for the responses.

You have to have a Guest 10+ to get the DDE (or now TIW) card. Same thing for AP discounts.

Yes, you can do that.

No. Only adults 21 and older can purchase the DDE card (now known as the Tables in Wonderland card). You need an adult AP to buy the DDE.

Since a child age 3 - 9 can't check into WDW resort, I wouldn't think so. But I don't really know for sure. Post this question on the resorts Forum - someone there will know.

You're welcome.
