We are planning on a family trip - there are 2 families of 4, my parents and my single brother - thus 11 people. Is it better to try and book as a table of 11 or split up 4/4/3 or 5/6 - any advice would be helpful.:goodvibes

When you call Disney dining let them know how many are in your party. They will check availability for you and tell you if they can fit you all at 1 table or if they will have to split you up.

Also just an FYI - even if they split your group you get charged the automatic gratuity for a group. The worst split was at Prime Time Cafe - we weren't even in the same room. Charged us anyway for a group

Book it as a group of 11. At times, we had a group of 14 for several meals on our last trip (and a group of at least 12 for all our meals) and we sat together or at tables directly next to each other at nearly all the restaurants we ate at which included 'Ohana's, Liberty Tree Tavern, Hollywood and Vine, Chef Mickey's, Big River Grille (Boardwalk), Rainforest Cafe (AK), and the ESPN Club to name a few.
