Question on AAA discount?

Do you have to book your room thru AAA to get the discount? I already have a room only reservation at the Port Orleans and just joined AAA. The AAA website does not have rate info for Nov yet. Can I just call Disney and get a AAA discount?

Yes, You can just call Disney. We always start out with the AAA discount and then hope for more of a discount. We never go to AAA we just call Disney. Now, that being said...... I just booked our next vacation for April. When I was done I realized I never told them I had AAA. I called back to have it applied. Well, they had to cancel my first ressie and then do a new one, but they never put my deposit back down. So make sure you check this and that all is the same and correct. I had called to put more money down and found this out.
If a code comes out you can also call and apply it. we have done that also.
