LOL Cute question. In our house, it's on our roller consistently over.

Funny - if I do it, it's under but if DH does, it's over. But we do manage to peacefully coexist.

it's always been over here, but my two year likes to get it off the roll and the way he does it doesn't work if its on under. So it's been under for awhile but it drives me so crazy that we are back to over. if that all makes sense.

It rarely makes it on the roller, it normally sits upright on top. I haven't ever noticed if a roll is over or under.

Though not completely foolproof, this helped us with the little ones. Before I put the roll on, I'd squish it so that the cardboard tube was almond-shaped (I guess that's the best way to describe the shape.) Anyway, the TP no longer rolled smoothly so it wasn't as much fun as if it just spins and unrolls.

My bathroom has been remodeled since early 2000 and I still haven't hung the toilet paper holder! I have it, but it's in a cabinet under the sink. We have an old antique washstand right beside the potty, so the paper just sits on it, with more underneath it in the cabinet.

I'm telling ya!!!
My boys not only lift everything up.. they close both lids when they are finished!! Even my kids' friends know the rule at this house.. When I enter the bathroom the lid better be down (both lids)...

Over. When it's under, there is too much chance of hands touching the wall and spreading germs. And I'm not normally a germophobe but this just creeps me out for some reason.

It's under at my mom's and I have a tough time not changing it on her!

Well, that dumb soccer coach tried to pull a fast one.. but he got his in the end!!! Fool!!!! DS scored one..and set up 2 other kids to score.. big jerk wanted to forget to tell DS he did a great job.. so the KIDS made a point to point out to him that if it wasn't for my DS that they wouldn't have scored.. so he choked back a compliment.. DS said thank you turned around and said.. "That's how we play as a team boys, let's keep it up".. DH said that coach just dropped his head! FOOL!

OMG!! You're kidding!?!?!? At our house they get scolded for putting it down! Some of us don't always have a lot of time for all that fiddling around once we get there to do our business...at least not anymore. That's always been an issue with DD as she was afraid of the sound of the flush when she was little, and now with this constant migraine - well, it just makes her head hurt worse. So she gets a pass - or she uses a broom handle to put the lid back up.

Now, that's my husbands germophobia. He is a civil engineer with an environmental option. He says the germs that go in the air when you flush the toilet with the lid up is quite high.

Exactly!! That is why the lid has to be down.. I even cover our tooth brushes w/ a gallon size bag.....and all our hair brushes are washed every other day in hot soapy water.... and they have to be in a drawer at all times when not in use!
