Question obout electronic cigs in the parks

Do you have to go to the designated smoking areas for electric cigs or can you use them anywhere in the parks and hotels?

This question was asked over on the Disney Parks Moms Panel a couple of months ago. Here is the reply that was posted:

Hi Cheryl!

I was curious about this, and placed a call for you. I was told that there was not a specific policy for electronic cigarettes, but that they would fall under the smoking policy, which is as follows:
Walt Disney World restaurants, shops, theme parks and Resort hotels are smoke-free environments—except for designated smoking areas. The printed theme park Guidemaps available at the park Main Entrance show the designated smoking areas.

All Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort are smoke-free environments. Smoking is not permitted in hotel rooms. Smoking is allowed in the designated outdoor smoking locations of each Disney Resort hotel. Guests can request location information upon check-in.
