Question...ME fee after March 2006?

I just read on another thread that Disney will be charging a fee for ME after March 2006. Is this true and has anyone else heard about this?

Before Disney even started DME, they announced it would be free during the entire 50th Anniversary Celebration, which lasts 18 months from May 5, 2005 through November 4, 2006 if I'm doing my math right. Since then I'ce read that it's been extended through either the end of November 2006 or the end of 2006 itself.

Was told by WD Travel CM that it will be gratis thru end of '06...still haven't tried it out yet.

Disney has never announced that they will charge for DME, only that DME will be complimentary for the 18-month Magical Celebration. That means that DME will be complimentary at least into November 2006 and almost certainly through the end of 2006.

I was fooling around with some dates in Dec. 2006 on the Disney site and it is still showing Magical Express included, so I imagine it is free through the end of 2006.

We booked room only for June 2006 and ME was included.
