We just moved to Florida from Arkansas, YAY!!! We're planning on spending lots of time at WDW. We'll be getting our FL resident annual passes this week and saw the new free dining promotion today. Is there a way to get the free dining packages if you have resident annual passes? Do you still have to buy the tickets if you don't need them?

We don't know much yet so any pointers would help. I hate to think that we'll miss out on the deals.

You still need to purchase the min. days of tickets that the Free Dining requires. They are good forever, until you use them. Save them for next year and upgrade to the renewal AP.

For free dining, you will have to buy a package that includes a minimum of 2 days worth of tickets and 3 consecutive nights at the resort, even if you already have an AP of some type.
