Question for you crafty wonderful people.....

So I would like to make some customized items for my family for our daughters wish trip, however I am not very crafty. Due to that fact I thought that doing iron-on designs are the way to go since I can design things on the computer but can't sew, etc, etc. But I do have a couple questions.......is it necessary to buy an iron on t-shirt kit or can you just whip up a design and print it on some transfer paper and b good to go?

Also I want to do a transfer on a canavan tote bag......are there any certain things I need to do with that or would I just do it like I would with a t-shirt?

you just download, print and iron on a transfer sheet....I did both tote bags and shirts the same way last year.

check the How-To sticky at the top of the forum for some pointers!

i bought some iron ons from someone on the disboards and they were wonderful. I made totes, and t-shirts.
