question for you CM Lanyard pros!

Okay, ds and I are on a CM Lanyard hunt for the newer safari series of CM Lanyard pins at WDW. Where and when would we have the best luck? Are they usually only on the CM lanyards at park opening and then they get 'plucked'? Is there any logic to wear they place them? Like on store CM's or cart CM's or attraction CM's? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

we just returned from a week down at the world and any of the new lanyard pins where few and far between more on the kids only lanyard we did manage three of the safari series good luck
