We are looking at going the week of Jan 21-28th to WDW and hope to do 1 or 2 days at Universal. We would like to do both parks, but is it possible to do both in 1 day? or should i buy 2 day tickets :confused3

Also, what days are best for Universal. We thought that the Universal on weekends might be less busy then go to parks Disney?

Finally, :goodvibes does Universal have any type of Fastpass system like they do at WDW.

You can hit allthe rides in 1 day, but won't really have time to enjoy the atsmophere, watch most of the shows or enjoy a good meal at Mythos.

Unless there is a special event, crowds are a bit lighter at US/IOA vs WDW.
Especially before 11 AM.

You can purchase Universal express (price varies on the "season" ie "peak" "regular" or "value") that is good 1x per ride, or if staying onsite your room key acts as an express pass.

However unless it is a peak time of yr, I don't find it is needed aslong as you follow some simple advise.
Arrive at the gate 30 min before park opening, as soon as the gates open, hit the high demand and slow loading rides/attractions first

If you have never been to US before and know that you have a couple of days to play with, I would do the 2-park/2-day pass. It would really be much to take in both parks in one day.

Agreed...too much to do in one day.
