We just uploaded our Disney pics from our DX6440 to our computer (Compaq - running Win ME). When I took the pics at Disney, I relied on the view screen of the camera to decide whether I should keep the pic. As a matter of fact, we reviewed the pics each night at the hotel and deleted the poor stuff.
Anyway, pics that showed up fine on the viewscreen of the camera, showed up very, very dark on my computer screen???
For example, we have a pic of our kids sitting inside the "O" of the PC logo at the hotel. The pic on the viewscreen of the camera shows a beautiful, almost aqua background. On the computer screen the background iis very dark.
How come such a difference? Which is the right one to go with when having them printed? I mean which one is the true picture?
Thank you all.
