Question for those with an Annual Pass

Okay, 2 questions really...

On the Disneyland website it says those with an annual pass can get a discount at "select" stores and restaurants, but doesn't say which ones. Can anyone tell me which ones offer the discount?

Also, is the only place to buy the annual pass is at Disneyland? I mean, can you buy one for a discount anywhere else?

*Most* places inside Disneyland offer a discount to the Premium pass. I don't have the list infront of me, I do know it is on the website somewhere. It varies from 10%-15% and some stores have a minimum purchase. The CMs are not consistant about enforcing the purchase or passlevel though so always ask at every location. Just be nice about it "do you have an annual pass discount here?" and they'll tell you.

Annual Passes can be bought at Disneyland, online on the Disneyland website and I think they still sell vouchers at the Disney Stores. They are the same price no matter where you buy it from. If you buy it online they just send you the vouchers. Personally I'd save the shipping money and buy them at the park or at a Disney Store.

Actually, it's all the restaurants in the parks excluding carts and ice cream parlors. The discount is 15% off for premium and 10% for the rest. As for whether there's a $10 minumum or not, most cms don't enforce one, though occasionally you run into some that do.

Somewhat related....

is tat you can get 10% off the cost of a new annual pass if you present a AAA card at the park... not good at the isney Stores which are now not owned by Disney. Or at least last year you could get a 10% discount off the annual passes.

Uh-oh... I can see buying AP's is gonna be the death of us. We bought them a few months ago now. We buy like crazy whenever we're at Disney anyway but with discount?! Forget about it... we're gonna be physically dragging the bags back to the parkig structure every day I bet!! But it's all good...
