I was wondering when you booked your tickets and packages? Who did you book them through? Did you get any good deals if so who did you get them through? Thanks

I booked SW airfare about 3 months before the March 2007 trip.

I had days left on tickets [still do]. I bought them last year [2006] at CAA before the prices went up.

I booked CBR about 3 months before trip and got 20% off before I used CAA discount.

I booked a rental car 3 months before trip, however I constantly checked for better deals and got one 1 month before trip.

I booked Cinderella's Royal Table 2 months before trip.

I booked Crystal Palace one month before trip.

We don't book packages because we get better prices and exactly what we want by booking everything ourselves.

We went March 9 - 23....

I booked our flights out of Boston last May (10 months prior..and got a GREAT rate. I booked directly thru the Delta website)
Booked our villa Last April (11 months prior)
Booked Mini Van Last April (11 months prior - again, got a GREAT rate...was cheaper than the rates were anytime up to our trip)
Disney Tickets I purchased via our local Disney Store. They worked out to be $6 more than if I had ordered them online. We purchased 7 day MYW expire.

Just wondering where you flew out of, and how much you paid per person to fly in March? We are taking a trip next March so I am just curious. Oh and how much did you pay for your rental? Thanks!

Lee :yay:

We flew out of Buffalo, we live in Mississauga, so it was about 1.5 hour drive to Buffalo.

We paid $54US and change per person. It came to $542US for ALL FOUR OF US!

Our rental car was thru Budget and came to $250US for 10 days.

We stayed over night in Buffalo at Homewood Suites Hilton....they kept our car for 11 days, free breakky [excellent!] & FREE dinner the night before we left [salad bar was good, dinner was merely ok]. That came to $149US. Taking all costs into the factor, we would have paid $50 for dinner, $30 for breakky and $80 to park the car, at least $100 for a hotel, that's $280! So $149 was a great deal. Oh yeah, it has an awesome pool and spa and the room was EXCELLENT! New and a two room suite!

We got great deals on EVERYTHING this trip! Blessings, Sandra

We went March 4th- 11th and booked on Feb 17th.
Westjet had a great deal on airfare from Calgary for $99 each way plus taxes and fees.
I got an AP rate at POFQ of $138/night tax included.
Bought park tickets at the gates, I don't like adding them to the room key card.
Pre bought US/IOA tickets online and picked them at their ticket booth.
Pre bought Pirate and Princess Party tickets and saved a couple of $$$
Rented a compact car for $143 all taxes and fees included. I applied for alamo's ***********, and used costco.com for coupons.
All prices are in USD.

We also got the $54 flight BUF to Orlando. Booked in October.

Stayed with DVC points. Used tickets we bought form CAA. No dinning...sorry

Yeah Thanks everyone. This also helps my budget as DH & I are going next March as well! I know we will end up paying a little more but i am hoping that I will have a ft teaching job (so March is the only time i'll have off-march break) :)

Thanks to everyone who responded, this helps me better plan our March 08 trip, We will also be flying from a US destination (Syracuse), and now I have a better idea of costs, Thanks again, these boards are great
