I'm trying to get some ideas for my husbands birthday. He's really big into Neverwinter Nights and Dungeons and Dragons. I thought as a gag I would get him some Fuzzy 20 sided dice to hang on his rear view mirror but I'm also trying to think of something else that he would like along those lines. I'm not really into RPGs (unless you count The Sims 2) but I do like to play Baulder's Gate with him on PS2.

Any suggestions would be welcomed! (He likes to read and write too) if that helps.

Halo (first person shooter, but its awesome!)
Halo 2
Fable
BTVS Chaos Bleeds
FF (final fantasy)
RE collection (1, 2, 3, 4, 0, veronica)
Anything Tom Clancy

I'll think of more later.

I forgot to mention that we are game geeks. We have alot of those games already!! Sorry!!

I'm wondering if there are any good books that anyone can suggest about D & D? He's starting to write alot now (sci fi stories and fantasy) so anything along those lines would be helpful too.

EsmeraldaX is a big D&D fan I believe.

Check out Terry Brooks.

Song of Shannara.... my favorite book of that type.

Does he like superheroes? - City of Villians

also D&D is coming out online soon.

Pushed back to February.

If you're looking for a computer game, Guild Wars is good. I even played that one with DH.

Cool! Good ides so far!

Papa Deuce... Are those books of the Fantasy genre? Chris reads alot of Terry Pratchett. Are they similar?

Yes fantasy... very epic in scope. Books probably average 700 pages a book. Really great.

And then be prepared to never see him again.

Ha ha, did you see X-Play's "commercial" for this game?

It was a girl complaining that her boyfriend wanted sex constantly, so she bought him WoW. She thanks WoW because she can finally get some errands done. There is a disclaimer at the end that "your girlfriend will probably sleep with someone else." It was hilarious.

I also agree with World of Warcraft. My husband loves RPG's and he's been playing this since it came out. My BIL is addicted to Guild Wars.

You've probably got Everquest then... a

Of course if he's into book RPG's there's always ANYTHING by White Wolf, I lost track of where they were in their campaigns though...

*hangs head* I've been away for so long, I guess I need to turn in my gamer chick card now. *sigh*

I recently played Indigo Prophecy. I really enjoyed it and actually finished it, which is rare for me.
