Hey everyone, I'm heading down to they World in 30 days and I was curious to know something; how are the busses running? I've heard that they were trying to change the way the busses work to something like a "Call and Wait." Is this still the situation, or have they gone back to the old way? I was also curious to know how the fires were affecting things down there as well. Thanks for the info.

Steven

No problem with smoke or fires when we were there over July 4th. Only had one delay on the bus situation during the 4 full days we were there. Waited 40 minutes to go from MGM to MK, other than that no problem and we were using transportation from the AllStars and then from OKW. Got to ride on the new bus while there, they are really different and a totally different feel. I am sure they are much better for those physically challenged.

Hope this helps.

Just back(7/7-7/14) and we had absolutely no problems at all with buses. We stayed at CSR and did a lot of park hopping. We never waited more than 10min. for a bus.

Just came back and no problem with the forest fires,etc.... No smoke, nothing.
Regarding the buses, we go every other year and it was the same as it has always been.
We did have to wait maybe 20 minutes or so to go to the parks but that was because we got
there early(for the early entry).
We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, and the earliest bus that came thru was around 7am for the 9am opening.

The busses were running fine. Never had a longer wait then 10 minutes.

Hi there! This is a great topic for the Transportation Board, so I am redirecting further replies there. Thanks so much! :)
