I just wanted to pick your brains and see what kind of clothes you are thinking of packing.

Last year we were very fortunate and had 18 degrees and sunny (we actually bought t-shirts to wear while threre!). This year (judging by current weather) I think we might still be travelling in winter weather!

I was going to pack long sleeve tops, fleeces and pack-away rain coats. Now I am wondering if we might need full winter coats, hats and gloves?

I'm thinking the same as you!

I was even thinking of investing in some thermals :lmao:

No joke - the other day I started thinking about where I could buy thermal vests for adults and children!! I decided not to invest in them until maybe 4 days before - when I can get a rough estimate of the weather forecast for our stay.

we are going 14th march, i am going to pack everything, hats, scarves, macs, thermal, tee-shirts tights for the kids, but will check out the weather forcast before we fly, hope it brightens up and stays dry, i can stand the cold but hate the rain/wind.

A friend of someone l know is just back from DLP & they had said that it was very, very cold there just now, but you never know it might warm up a bit in the next couple of weeks.

l've been there once in Jan (years ago) & l still recall how cold it was. :cold: You want to be able to enjoy DLP to the max & not feel hindered by the weather - best to go prepared, think in layers maybe, also scarf, hat & gloves especially for children.

Decision made then - i'm off to M&S tomorrow to invest in some thermals!

In March 2004 it was bitterly cold, so I shall be going well prepared, taking lots of layers and good quality raincoats, plenty of lip balm and lots of pairs of gloves to change through the day if it's wet, I ended up buying half a dozen pairs whilst we there last time.
At the same time I'm praying that spring is going to surprise us. :sunny:

I kept checking a couple of weather sites before I went, and everyday they forecast different weather!!! They were pretty accurate by the time we got to the day before, but I would never believe any forecast earlier than that!!!

I'm a great believer in layering too, and I'd definitely rather be too warm than too cold - there's nothing more miserable.

Yes CDG is closer :thumbsup2

That site uk.weather dot com also offers a forecast for Charles De Gaulle but I can't post links I don't think

Might be worth putting a link up somewhere? ;)

Thanks Reid, I am sure others will find the link useful, I already have the site bookmarked on my 'Bookmarks Toolbar Folder', so it gets checked every day :teeth:
