How long after you applied did you receive your Visa card?

I applied today on the Chase website and it said it could take up to 30 days!!! :faint:

I applied last we and my card came in the mail today. Only bad thing was I forgot to check the box for the design I wanted so I just have a blank card with Disney on it, I wish I had Mickey.

Thanks for your quick reply, markey! Did you apply on the Chase website or through the Disney link?

Sorry about the design on your card, now you've got me wondering... did I make a selection?:headache:

Bump :Pinkbounc

Anyone else apply on the Chase website?

You change your card design as many times as you want for free. Info is on the Disney Visa Rewards website.

I was just going to comment that if let them know when you activate the card, I'm sure you can change the design. My card came with the wrong name on it (came with my father's), I simply let them know, and I had a new one in a couple of weeks.

Until next time,
John

P.S. - I appied for mine through the mail, so I cannot give you an accurate time, but my mother applied for hers through the link on the Disney site and got it within two weeks!

I applied online and received it in about a week or less! I did only come with a $600 line of credit which is really low. But, I have another chase card with a very high limit, so I just called and had them switch it, with half of the total credit on each card, I may even switch almost all of it as the rate is lower. They did this in one call, and it was all set immediately. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info Minniekins!

It looks like I'll probably have my card soon. :goodvibes

We also have another Chase card, so it's good to know about splitting the credit.:thumbsup2

You can change the design on the card any time you wish. :wizard:

Wouldn't you be able to get a room only code discount with this limit? Or do you have to book a package on the card to use a code?

I applied online and it came in about a week. Got the same message that it could take up to 30 days. It was pretty quick. Have fun shopping!

I think what you have to book depends on what the discount is they are offering, either a package discount code usually, or a room only code. But, I don't think it matters your limit for you to be able to use the codes they release. But, you do have to pay with the disney visa card and I think a package has to be paid off 45 prior to arrival so you'd end up needing a higher credit line than 600.00. I think you just have to call and request this. another poster also had mentioned they started with 600.00 also and requested the increase. I wanted a much bigger credit line to pay as many bills as possible to be able to build the rewards faster!

I applied online and it took about 2 weeks. I got the Mickey and Friends but am dying to get the Tink one. Just have to take the time to call I guess.
Anyone get that credit protector thing they try to sell you? My DH got when he activated the card, said he couldnt understand what the guy was saying lol. Now we gotta call and cancel it. I swear, sometimes I think someone could sell him a snow shovel in July:lmao:

I also go my card in about a week. I tried to cancel my other Chase card because I haven't used it in like 5 years plus I figured I would just use my new Disney card but the Chase help desk talked me out of it. When I received my new Disney visa the limit said $26,000:eek: I certainly don't need such a high credit limit and my first Chase card had an average $6000 limit. I wonder why they gave my such a large credit limit:confused3

It took about 1.5 weeks for mine to come in the mail applying online. I also got a $26,000 credit limit which was absurd. You can definitely call anytime and change the design as many times as you want.

I got one card for my daughter and one for myself, we got the same design with Mickey and friends. Can we actually request a different design for just her, or do both cards have to be the same?
