Ok, someone settle the debate between my DH and me.. :lmao:

Were the Righteous Brothers back up singers for Elvis? I swear I heard several years ago that they were. Also, my dh and I were watching an Ed Sulivan thing on Netflix , and I SWEAR a couple of the guys singing with Elvis looked just like him.

No, the Righteous Brothers were never his backup singers. Some of his backup singers were known as the Jordanaires.

We know this because Thurl Ravenscroft was one of the founding members. You may also know Thurl as Tony the Tiger, or more importantly, as one of the singing ghosts in the Haunted Mansion (the one with the really deep voice)..and now you know... :rotfl:
