We are coming over to Orlando for a short 3 night trip for my DD's bday in a few weeks. We're limited on time and I'm trying to plan it out so we can do as much as possible. So I have a few questions...

We plan on attending one park on Monday and the other on Wed. I thought it would be good for the kids to have a day in between to rest. Which park should we go to on what day? I was thinking IoA on Monday & US on Wed?

Does anyone know anything about the Green Eggs & Ham? Both of my kids are bugging the heck out of me wanting to know if they can eat Green Eggs!!:confused3

And last but not least, if you had to pick one table service type restaurant in the parks or the City Walk area which would it be (I will have 3 kids in tow ages 7, 11, & 16)?

I'll vote on the last question and let the more seasoned pros tackle the others. :) My choices would be Mythos and Margaritaville. (Unless you decide to dress and go all out and then it would be one of Emeril's restaurants.)

the restaurant Green Eggs and Ham is closed..........:sad1:

the building is there but not open anymore.........

if the kids are thrill coaster riders, do ioa last

if they enjoy all types of rides, then go with the schedule you stated.
it sounds like a good plan.

i say mythos for lunch at ioa is a can't miss meal....

for pizza, do Louie's at the studios.

I would say Margaritaville or Hard Rock Cafe for your group.

If you do the Spiderman/cat in the hat character meal at IOA, they serve green eggs and ham sandwich, which is kinda on the nasty side, but green :lmao:

As the others have stated...Green Eggs & Ham is closed but the builidng is still there...teasing us. :rolleyes1

I would vote Margaritaville at CityWalk for the group. I'm sure they will enjot the live music and volcano. :teeth:

I would agree with Mac for lunch at the Studios, go with Louie's...the pizza is outstanding! At IOA, my favorite is Thunder Falls Terrace...the chicken wraps are excellent! :thumbsup2

I would also agree with doing the Studios on Monday and IOA on Wednesday.
::yes::

We have visited and stayed onsite 5 times recently at IOA/US. We always end up spending more time at IOA. If you are going 2 days-don't you have the weeklong pass with unlimited 7 day access? It's just about as cheap as any other tix. If so, I would go to IOA the 1st day, because your kids may not want a day of rest and might wanna go to the parks all 3 days.

I would eat at Margaritaville or Hard Rock for sure. It can be a real long wait for dinner at Margaritaville, but worth it.

Thanks for all your replies:flower3: !

My kids will be bummed to hear there will be no Green Eggs & Hamm, but there's a million other places to go.....

I am leaning to wards Mytho's or Margaritaville, and we may have to make a visit to the new Burger King bar, the kids would probably like that! There are just so many great restaurants it's hard to choose!!

My DD is a huge Disney fan so I made reservations at the Polynesian to do a character meal, plus we will be going to Downtown Disney to try out the new T Rex café. And although the Hard Rock is a great suggestion, we have the Hard Rock Casino about 5 miles up the road from us and go there often!

Ron V, no, sadly we don't have the week passes, I have 2 day-2 park tickets, so we can only use them for two days:guilty:
