Got sag? I'm looking for a good firming lotion for my almost-40 skin. It's just starting to show some age and I want to STOP IT. Got any tips?

If you're talking face cream, I really like Avon's Thermafirm. I have tried a million things and I keep coming back to that.

If you're talking body sag, I would like to know something for that too!:rotfl:

For the face I think I remember hearing about wet tea bags acting as an astringent, and also Prep H. I've never used either but they've been mentioned in beauty books I've read so it must work.

To not draw attention to it go easy on the make-up, it cakes in older skin. So many of my friends are still applying make-up like we did when we were teens and it just doesn't work for older skin. I realized this when my DH started telling me not to wear make-up because it made me look old. It took a while before I saw what he saw but eventually I caught on to what he was noticing. Try using a Q-tip with concealer for blemishes and dark spots and keep it all away from the eyes except for mascara and liner, everything else ends up looking awful when it settles around the creases and makes fine lines look like wrinkles:scared1:... not quite the look I was going for kwim.

I will say that for makeup, the best foundation I've found the last few years is Maybelline's Mousse makeup--nothing else is lighter and somehow gives a glow. I was using Prescriptives and Clinique and they are just too heavy as your skin gets older. I love the feel of the mousse and it somehow covers redness well even being that light.

Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely check them out. It's like I woke up one morning and said, "What the..." My age is sneaking up on me. What about body lotions? Any anti-aging lotions you like?

HA HA In my B*OBS of course but I'm not thinking a lotion will help that! :lmao: Sorry - I digress....
