Question for the experts?

How in the World do you make the Mickey heads that look like a globe with
a picture in them? I'm fascinated by all the outstanding designs.

Midnight uses a 3D program to do hers

I make mine in photoimpact - there is a sphere option -

if you have the program - I can help you through it - it is one of the most difficult things I do in photoimpact

Have I told you guys how absolutely amazing you are!! I have tried and tried to come up with some stuff on my own, and I just don't have the imagination for it. The best I can do is borrow Midnite's stuff and add to it!! Like this one right here.

Would anyone be willing to help me out with something? I am trying to think of something similar to do for a shirt for me and DH. We are taking DS for his 5th birthday, and I would like us to have shirts that are similar but not exactly the same. The one above is the one I have made for DS for our first day there, and I have made another one...

... that says something to the extent of "spending my 5th birthday at..." If anyone has any suggestions, or would like to offer any help it would be greatly appreciated.

I do have Photo Impact, I found the shere effect under materials, but
my efforts sure don't look like these.
