i've booked a previous trip through them and am booking our Dec 09 trip with them. They've always been great and put up with my disney obsessiveness! I've referred lots of family and friends to them, not sure if anyone actually used them yet, but I always pass their name along.

Does anyone know if you can book a room only reservation with DU or is it just packages?

You can book room only with them. I just booked my Jan room only trip today.
I love my agent and I'm so happy Dan gets to deal with CRO and not me.

You can book room only- I used to do all my own plus ADR's- now I let my best friend "Rhonda" at DU do it. She adds folks, changes times- finds discounts and lets me know. It is so much easier. They start e-mailing you a few weeks out with little teasers about upcoming trip. Great way to do it.

you could go on the podcast cruise - that's booked through DU (or else you don't get to join in all the wild and crazy podcast shipboard fun )

it's probably stupid sounding, but one of the things that made me happy about the podcast cruise was that i could finally book something through DU...

I voted that I'd love to hear a segment on DU. I think an overview of their services, what they offer that is unique (I love the countdown emails, and the itinerary!) would be great.

I really don't think it is out of line with the show - I mean after all we do hear from other business owners on the podcast - services like Gifts of a Lifetime, and Owner's Locker (I think I'm remembering correctly on OL) - so why not DU?

My trip planning for WDW is pretty easy these days, we've been many times in the past, and three trips in the last year alone! I was even interviewed as a Mom's Panel finalist - but I still love using DU. And I wouldn't DREAM of booking a trip on a Disney Cruise or to DL without using DU - no way - I need that help! I've never been to/on either, but hope to soon!!

Anyways, that's my two-cents - I hope I'll hear more about DU soon.

DU rocks! I've used them for past WDW trips and have never been the least bit disappointed.

My only fear w/ them doing a DU segment is then they'll have to wade thru a flood of calls/emails with "How do I become a DU agent?!"

I am thinking a show not a segment, that way if you dont want to hear about DU, you don't listen to that show, but don't miss anything else either.

I think they can fill a show with call in's and emails with testimonials from past clients

We have handled everything online but a few weeks ago my internet started acting up so I emailed for a phone number just in case and got that too, no problem. Being overseas it's great because they will call and make any dining reservations you want and then email you with your reservation numbers. No long distance calls to Disney Dining, unless you enjoy that kind of thing upsidedow which I do, whoo hoo!)

I am from the UK and have booked my December stay at the Wilderness lodge & Yacht club with DU along with the Dining plan & my park hopper tickets....all I have done is my flights (which I was doing seperately anyway).

I just booked our January 2009 trip with Cathy Miller at DU and she's been GREAT! I really can't believe how quickly she has replied to every e-mail I've sent to her. Sometimes within minutes of my having sent it! I'd love to know more about the services that DU offers and a show segment would be fantastic!
