Question for the DLRP Experts -- Hotel related

We purchased our airfare today and are now leaving a day later than originally planned. Now our new plan is to use our last day in the parks since we will have the tickets with our package, but we are considering moving to a cheaper hotel nearby for the last night then heading to the airport early the next day.

We are staying at the Sequoia Lodge for three nights. I am going to see how much it will cost to just stay there another night, but the "problem" with that is we will get the extra day ticket that we don't need. I wish we could just add the room, but I know that's not how it works.

If we decide to move to another hotel off property, where would you all suggest? Or would you all just recommend staying on at the Sequoia? I know that's the easiest option, but I'm trying to save a little money!

I'm not an expert but I think you can book the Disney hotels at a room only rate through Expedia. You could then email the hotel to request linking your bookings so you don't have to move rooms for one night?

Thank you. I looked and it says it's not available for our date. But that's good to know!

When are you going? It could be that the rooms haven't been released to booking agents yet.

Otherwise there are lots of cheaper hotels nearby that are served by a complimentary shuttle bus - Explorers, Magic Circus, Dream Castle, and Kyriad are the closest.
