The best place to buy tickets, the best seats, has anyone sat in the poncho section? It it worth the $325 for a family of 4.

Best place is to buy online way before you go. You get an online discount off boxoffice price and better seat since they are in advance. Once you buy they are non refundable so remember that. We have been twice front row in poncho zone and loved it beside having to wear the poncho which gets hot. We just booked yesterday with AP rates just behind poncho (cannot have poncho due to the great rate) 6 rows back and it should be great also.

As for is it worth it at $325 I would say no. For a discount yes. We have never paided full price and wait for the discounts. We paid yesterday for 3 adult and one child $183.20 for July.

As for seats the best would be close to see their facial expressions durring the show. Just behind poncho is still very close to the stage and they are always close to the front or small stage. Maybe 20ft from stage at row B.

Here is the link to online ordering and seating chart. If you have an AP pass you can call the AP hotline to book that rate.:thumbsup2

I saw the show but was sitting really far back and was kind of entertained but not enough to pay more than $10. At times I was wishing I just went to a movie instead.

Good advice, just one thing, what's a AP pss?

We bought our tickets for the two times we went on-line through Universal. We sat in the same area both times and loved the seats and could see every facial expression. We sat in the third row just behind the poncho section. Its a great show and a lot of fun.

Makes me feel better about being right behind poncho this time row B.:)

We just got back and sat in the third row, center section. I bought the tickets through a Travel Zoo special and it was $180 for three seats. My kids and I loved the show!

We loved the show and think it's a great addition to the resort. We were thinking of seeing them again but we're already watching No Doubt and Wanda Sykes for our trip!

How did you find out about the special prices, was it a weekly special, a special for members or something else??

I'm signed up with Travel Zoo and get their Top 20 deals every Wednesday. At the end of the top 20 deals they have deals on shows and this was one of them.

;)What do you think about bringing a Digital Camera into the show?

Do they allow pIcs? Or videos?

I'm in BB - Pancho....if I bring My digital Camera - do I need to put it in a ziploc bag?:confused3

HELP!

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Someone correct me if I am wrong...but I don't think you can take pictures during the show. They do a meet and greet type thing afterwards and then you can take pictures.

Hope that helps the last poster. :)

You're right. No pictures during the show, but there is a meet & greet in the lobby area after the show.

Thanks a bunch...we'll make sure to make the meet & greet.

Here's a pretty dumb question - but I have to ask....

They do sell BMG "Stuff" right? Tshirts, etc....what do they sell? before the show?

Is the front row (AA) too close? I am planning on buying tickets for my husband and boys (16 &9) but wasn't sure which are the best seats. They don't mind getting wet, so that's not a problem. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

We were in the third row, center (CC) and I really liked where we were. Close enough to really see everything but not feel like we had to tip our heads back to see up on the stage.

AA is the very first row and about 5 feet from the stage. We hve been there 2 times now and its very nice. You really don't have to look up too much. My DS 6 really loved it and was not bad for him either. You will enjoy it, I won't spoil the show but water is not the problem.:thumbsup2

We just got back - saw it last night (BB19/20)...and the only thing that I didn't like is that it was SO built up about the "Poncho Seats"....DS17 and I wore those hot muggy things the whole show and NO ONE in my vicinity needed them ...and I saw no one that needed one....I know I was let down and DS17 was a bit too...but he was SO BLOWN OVER by the show itself....he didn't complain at all. They did some things behind us to incorporate the whole theater...but nothing big that we couldn't see behind us or on the Big Screens...over all myself & DS17 LOVED our seats because we could see all the little details and facial expressions.:woohoo:

Mail me if you have other questions....we drove 11 hours back today and I'm exhausted...

;)
