Question for Resort Experts

We are sailing on the Disney Magic at the end of March and afterward plan to spend two days at Disney World. There will be Me, my husband and our daughter (who will be 10 months) and my best friend, her husband, and their wee daughter (who will be 15 months).

My question is: We are considering two resorts, All Stars or Port Orleans, and we can't decide between them. From what I've found out, All Stars will be $109 a night and Port Orleans will be $169 The price difference isn't a huge problem, but we don't want to pay the higher price if there really wouldn't be any difference between the two resorts. Since we will only be there two nights, we won't be using the pools and probably very few of the other resort activities since we plan to do a park each day.

Any suggestions? Is Port Orleans worth it over All Stars for us?

My two favorite resorts are ASMo and POR ---

Usually, we would stay at PORiverside without the little ones... the mansion area is really lovely and walking from the mansions to the main building/restaurant/food court areas is scenic.

However, with the little ones, I would chose ASMovies -- even the short walk from your building to the bus stop or parking lots will be fun for them -- they'll see giant icons of favorite characters and I think it's one of the most "Disney-feeling" resorts.

Now, keep in mind that the rooms at the ASMo are going to be a bit smaller than POR --- but if you're not spending alot of time in them, I would stay there and use the $$$ you save for something special.
