Question for Republican Supporters

Remember that statement as the next 4 years unfold...heck, remember it as he names his cabinet members. :)

There was a lot (and I mean A LOT) of misleading of the public, and only a small part of it was about Sarah Palin. There is plenty that was kept from the general public about our newly elected leader, and there will be alot of people who end up regretting their votes before 2012 rolls around.

Even Campbell Brown stated the next day that she really didn't know anything about our President-elect.:confused3 You wanna talk about a woman appearing "dumb"....look no further than your so-called journalists on any of the MSM channels.

The MSM mislead people about Barack Obama and Sarah Palin. They hid Obama's ominous past, and they created one for Palin.

Very well said.:thumbsup2

At least Mccain is keeping himself distant from this childlike behavior.

He is scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show on Tuesday for Veterans' Day. I am interested to see if he will address this at all.

I would never go on a message board and tell Canadians that they should choose someone to be the leader of their country. If you don't live and work here how can you even think that is appropriate. I'm not trying to bash you I am just amazed.
Canada's newspapers alone have a lot more coverage of the US elections than we do theirs. While visiting one of their papers, I couldn't help but participate in their poll asking if they could vote, would it be for McCain or Obama. I couldn't restrain myself so helped them out by voting for McCain! :teeth:

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and believe that you are sincere in asking this question. Forgive us if we are defensive, we're a little mistrustful of these types of questions. Most us want to avoid a scuffle with certian O worshipers who bait us with these questions and then pounce.

I do not feel my party betrayed me. It was one unnamed source, wasn't it? It's not like John McCain has issued a statement or anything (but I'm getting angry that he won't issue one putting a stop to this). It's nothing but catty gossip but it's to be expected. I remember similar gossip when Al Gore lost in 2000. They said he and Bill Clinton had a massive blow out where Gore blamed his loss on President Clinton's sex scandals. It happens when your side loses. You want to put the blame somewhere and people take it upon themselves to leak "information" to hurt the person they do not like, or feel is the cause of the loss. The way the media has handled it is what is truly disturbing.

Really, it's the media that has me disillusioned, not the Republican Party. The sensationalism, bias, and slanted, twisted "truth" that has been presented over this campaign is unbelievable. The way Sarah Palin and her family were treated is beyond dispicable yet even though the campaign is over, it continues. I really can't get my mind around the hatred for her. I think the fact that so many have gone so far to destroy her proves what a force she is. I proudly support her.

Enough with the Palin bashing. I head another news story saying that all of this so called revelation about Palin was false. I am alot more upset about the way the MSM protected BO in order to help him get elected.

You mean the same MSM that smoothed over all of the lies Bush told and the crimes he committed against not only the rest of the world, but his own people as well? The one that somehow kept him from impeachment? Is that the MSM you all keep referring to? :lmao:

I agree with you. If what they are saying now is true, they either lied to the American people, or they lied to themselves. I don't think Sarah Palin misrepresented herself in any way. She has obviously been successful in her previous endeavors and enjoyed a stellar approval rating. If they didn't do their due diligence when they chose a running mate, that is not her fault.

They are now, after the campaign, presenting her as being dumber than a box of bricks. To me, that reflects very badly on them, not her! If that was the case, why were they lying to the American people and the republican supporters and presenting her as a qualified candidate if they knew she was "dumber than a box of bricks" and wasn't qualified???? Why didn't they replace her on the ticket if that's how they felt? Why tell us now??? It just makes them look like a bunch of liars who will not admit mistakes until it's too late to do anything about them and they are looking for some one to be a scapegoat. If I was somebody who had supported her and defended her nomination, and then they turned around and told the world she was stupid, I would be pretty choked at the campaign for making a fool out of me.

DISCLAIMER: I am not saying Sarah Palin is "dumber than a box of bricks" or "stupid". That is how the Republican campaign is making her look with the anonymous statements they released.

"Anonymous sources" could be the whole campaign, but more likely its a couple of disgruntled workers that want to help McCain by tossing Palin to the wolves. Its not like the MSM would spend anytime confirming something about her, they are ready to post anything negative immediately; even now.

I'm not registered with any party, but I voted for McCain. The throwing of Palin under the bus makes me sad. I don't believe it, but furthermore, I don't believe the press reporting it believes it either. I feel like the press is no longer reliable and that they try to manipulate viewers. I'm very uncomfortable with this new world where you can't just read a paper or watch the news to get the story. Maybe it was always like that and I only now just noticed, but I feel like the real loser in this election was either the press, or the public who can no longer rely on them. :(

Yes, I agree with this as well. Again, if any of this is true, the fact that this Carl Cameron had this information prior to the election and didn't disclose it looks bad on him.
