Hey Deb just wanted to ask you a quick question about Bargain Pack....
How long does it usually take to get your packages from them?
They didn't send an email or anything so I was just wondering. Thanks!

Finally organizing my scrap stuff... got a big Scrap Shin Dig on Saturday all day that my CM consultant is doing at a hotel. I'll be like a babe in the woods.... kinda like when I started on these boards and was quickly
"seduced" by Maggie, Deb (yea you!) Patty T to buy buy buy! All those Web Links... how could I resist?
Kinda like when Wilma & Betty would scream "Charge It"

For you youngsters, that would be Wilma & Betty of Flinstones Fame :rotfl:

:rotfl: I like that! Wilma & Betty were my heroes when I was in school as I never had money to shop like they did! ;)

This is the first time I've ordered from BargainPack & I'm still waiting. However, I'll be using them again as I'm extremely pleased with their customer service. I'd ordered on the 2nd. I was notified on the 8th that one item was sold out & my CC was being credited. At that point Sweet Maxine mentioned she'd gotten a tracking number when her stuff shipped. I hadn't so I sent an email asking about it on the 10th.

I got a response saying that she wasn't in the "office" but would be back in the evening. She remembered my name & said she thought it had been shipped, but she would email me once she was back at the office. (Evidently she's in the "office" in the evenings.)

True to her word, I received another email yesterday with the tracking number. She said my order had been "pulled" on the 8th & shipped on the 9th. She also said that in addition to the button ups being sold out, that the Mickey buttons were on back order. She told me that they should arrive next week & should would "stop what I am doing when they come, check them in and send them out the same day" - can't beat that with a stick!

About the emails....she said that she tries to let people know when things have shipped, but it doesn't always get done. I can live with that. I liked that she answered my question without making me feel as thought I was annoying her, like several large companies have done. With one, I emailed & called a couple times because it took so long to get the product. Eventually, they found out that they order was in computer limbo & I never would have gotten it if I hadn't called. :confused3

Wilma and Betty---two women near and dear to my heart! (Lucy and Ethel come to mind too...) Gotta love two women that can get along with the likes of Fred and Barney!! LOL!!!

Piratesmate, I'm glad you were able to clear up the confusion about your order. I feel even better about ordering from that site now that I know she gives that type of customer service. I figure she must be a busy person with all the orders that must come in (courtesy of the enablers on this board :teeth: ). I know you feel much better now, and I can't wait to get my goodies! Thank goodness there's not a store around here anywhere like that, or I'd be completely hopeless!!! It's bad enough just going back to check what's new or if there's anything else I forgot. BTW---Mickey buttons---I don't remember seeing any of those. And what are the button-ups?

Uh-oh.....pleeeeeeeeeeeease don't tell me there's something I missed! Gotta stay away from that place.... :badpc:

TinkerKat, you're right on target with that assessment! If we're not careful, we'll find ourselves having to join SSA (Scrap Shoppers Anonymous).....

Yes, I'm relieved. I went through a delay with my very first on-line scrapping order that makes me follow up. The site showed the "status" of your order & mind said "pending" for 2 weeks! I tried contacting them & they kept saying "Your order is pending" & didn't want to explain what that meant or give me an idea what was happening to it. I finally got a nicer person on the phone who immediately said "Something's wrong. Let me check." Had I not called, I'd never have gotten the product on that one.

Bottom line - I'll be ordering from her again.

Button-ups...I think it's just a brand name for those little vellum envelopes that you picked up at Target. These were larger, though, and orange. (I wanted them for my AKL LOs.)

For the Mickey buttons - Choose "Disney" from the list. They're the 3rd thing down on page 1 of the Disney stuff. Too cute! :teeth:

I was just looking back over my order. I can't wait!!! :hyper: Mostly it's more eyelets....candy canes, Easter eggs & chicks, wizard hats, the castle charms, etc. But my favorite ones are for my AKL pages...giraffes & zebras! I also got monkeys for DD (for some reason she's nuts about them) & some bears for my WL pages...don't ask why! I've already got more tree & leaf brads for those pages than I know what to do with! ;)

I'm telling you - it's a sickness! I need that T-shirt..."Hi! My name is Deb & I'm a scrapaholic." :teeth:

:cheer2:  I just had to post! My stuff from BargainPack came today. I'm very pleased with all of it! :teeth: :Pinkbounc

Where can I get that T-shirt? I only scrap Disney trips that we take with my grandsons, and I have more than enough Disney scrap stuff, but every time new products become available I have to buy them. I recently won a $50 gift certificate at mousememories.com, and I redeemed it immediately. Of course I spent more than $50.

I agree with you about the customer service from bargainpack.com. I ordered some mouse balloon eyelets from her last summer and they were delayed in the mail. She had sent them First Class Mail but when I called the post office they said the tracking number indicated bulk mail. She offered to send another package but it wasn't necessary. They did finally arrive and the package was sent First Class. Gotta love the USPS.

I am not sure what to do, I got my e-mail that my stuff for the swap was mailed ten days ago and the USPS sight shows no update. I have e-mailed Bargainpack, but have received no reply. Do you guys think I should just hang tight? :confused3

Dyan, I think I went through the same thing as you have. I was checking the tracking # from the USPS and all it said was that the package was to be picked up for shipment on a certain date. After about 2 weeks I got worried and sent her an e-mail asking about my order. She responded to me very quickly, probably within an hour or so of my e-mail, and she was very concerned that I had not received my package. She told me she would look into the matter, and then about 2 days later my package arrived. I think she's just very busy, and with it being the holiday weekend, might not be in her "office" to check e-mails. I understand your frustration, as I had to wait on my order to work on my swap things. My package arrived in First Class Mail too.

Hope you hear something soon about your order.

I've ordered from her 2ce now. I don't know for sure, but from things she's said & the times she's emailed me back I'm guessing that she does this as a side-line & only gets to the BP "office" late at night. I also don't think she's there every day. I could be wrong about all that, but :confused3

I had a similar experience with the USPS tracking site as Sweet Maxine. It said something about waiting to be picked up until the day after it was delivered. Gayle did say (via email) that the USPS often doesn't update their site until the pkg has actually been delivered. I think one order arrived 5 days after it was to be picked up & the other was more like 10 days to 2 weeks.

When did you email her? If it has been more than 2 days without hearing from her, I'd probably try again. She never went longer than that w/o answering me. Usually she's very prompt - just not until about midnight. ;)

I'll admit that shipping took longer from her than any of the other sites I've used, but I'm okay with it because she was very responsive. There was something out of stock on my first order. (Now that I think about it, she may have been holding it for shipment until it came in.) She emailed me that it was coming in the following week & she'd send it separately. When I got my 2nd order (which I placed the same day I got my 1st) there was a hand-written note that the Mickey buttons still had not come in. She obviously keeps up on what's going on.

I hope you get your stuff soon!
