Like I said on my other post I have spinal fusion on my L5-S1. With mild ruptures to my C6/7, T1/2, T11/12 and a moderate rupture to my L4.
Due to my back injury I have lost most feeling below the knee on my left leg. Which has led me to break my ankle 3 times with out knowing it. I spent a week at WDW in 2005 on a broke ankle and didn't know it was broke. To keep my ankle from rolling, my doctor has put me in a metal brace. The brace straps to my leg just below my knee with two steel rods running down the side of my leg and it's then attached through the sole of my shoe. It keeps my ankle from moving left or right. It keeps my ankle from moving in any direction except up or down. I have problem turning it to get into vehicles with a small door.
Now for my question for people who might have similar problems. What rides were you able to ride? I had trouble getting in and out of Space Mountain the last time I was there. It was too low for me. So I know that is off the list. Any others?
