We just bring our cheapie Century/Graco (smallish model) instead! It has a comfy seat, 2 cupholders and a tray for the kid, although I think we may leave the tray home on this trip.
I love my Mac, but I have no worries with the Graco.
The Carryyou Demi Milan is fabulous on a Mac - www.carryyou.com It is a great little caddy that holds two huge drinks and has a little pouch in the middle for keys, etc.
If you only need one cupholder/water bottle holder there is a stroller organizer by Eddie Bauer at Target that I've heard good things about. (haven't tried it, though).
I have a Maclaren Organizer bag that hangs on my stroller at all times...has 2 cup holders in it. Not good for fountain drinks, but PERFECT for bottled beverages. I also have a Skip Hop Expo diaper bag that you can put sodas in...the 2 front pockets. All else fails, put the bottled sodas in the basket!
We've got one on our Mac TT. It's very easy to install and there is no need to deal with screws and screwdrivers. It's very sturdy and can hold everything from a baby bottle to a Ice Venti Latte from Starbucks, LOL!
I would use the mini pouch in the back of the stroller. It didn't work very well. Neither did the clip-on cup holders because of the lack of cross-bars between the Mac's handles.
An ordinary lightweight backpack that has mesh bottle pockets on both sides.
I think it was $12 at Target.
We never used the basket except to sometimes hold a little lunch-size soft cooler with extra snacks in it; the backpack is much better because it holds all your stuff and you can just snag it and go when you leave the stroller at a ride.
I just got a pink one! I actually got it a couple of months ago...I got the 2005 Quest Mod in Rose Pink. I LOVE IT!!!!!!! It's a great stroller...and cute, too!!!
I have two Maclareans and a Peg Pergo and have used the canapy to balance a drink in. Or just put the water bottles in the basket. I also have used drink carriers in the basket too.
