I hope it's okay to ask Kathy about Gatorland in this forum?? We're thinking of heading to Gatorland on our last day for a few hours. If we allow for 4hrs in the park before getting to the airport, is that enough time? I went about 10yrs ago and only spent about half a day and it worked fine. Is it still enough time today? Any must see or do attractions? We're a group ranging from age 4 to grandparents. Thanks so much! I've always enjoyed hearing you talk about Gatorland in the podcast. :goodvibes

I think you could do quite a bit in 4 hours at Gatorland. I would save time to take the walk back through the woods on the boardwalk. It's a great way to see what typical Florida is like. I also would not miss the albino gators and if you have time to see the show where the gators jump. The jumping gators are just fun to watch.

You will have a great time!

Kathy

Thanks so much, Kathy! :goodvibes Sounds like it could work on our last day then. I like the thought of doing something fun on the last day instead of just dreading it! Thanks again!!

If the weather is on the cool side, the gators might not be jumping. We found this out the hard way when we were there in December. My dh and I had been there 23 yrs ago and had a great time. This time not so much. The gators were sluggish because of the cool weather(i realize there is no contol over that). And I was surprised at all the extra charges, like for the train, etc. There was a discount through AAA when we bought our tickets at the park.
