A friend of DW has a small Hummel collection. One piece she has is very unique. In this time of tight finances she is considering selling this piece and has asked for help in doing so.

Anybody have a suggestion as to the best way of going about it. We were thinking Ebay but doubts exist regarding obtaining a good price.

BTW, the piece is Baby in Crib-Plaque Hum 138.

Thank you

Is this it??? I just googled your description and this came up. If this is it, it looks like it is pretty rare and could net your friend a nice amount.

Yes, that is the one. We were allowed to take it to the German Pavilion at Epcot once and saw a painter from the Hummel factory and even he had never seen one. He handled it like it was very precious.

We are just wondering how she could get the best price for something this rare. Ebay would not be the way.
