Question for FireFox users

I just installed it for my Mac today and saw a mail program called ThunderBird by Mozilla. Has anyone installed it, do you like it better than the default Apple Mail program?

we dont have a mac but most of our friends and family have these applications .....mozilla firefox and thunderbird for email

and never have had any problems the last year .......
