Hello again. I have a last minute question before leaving for our cruise next week. My DH uses a walkman at night to put him to sleep (sound familiar anyone?). My question is, once on the ship in the middle of the ocean, is he going to pick up any radio signals/stations that he can listen to as he drifts off (why he just wouldn't want to drift off to the sounds of the ocean is beyond me, but to each his own) or is he just out of luck?

Thanks!! 5 days to go

I don't know for sure, but I would doubt that you could pick up any radio stations once you are out to sea. If you're on the 4-night, you may still be close enough to either Florida or the Bahamas to pick something up. I'm sure that there will be at least 3 nights on the 7-night where the ship will be far enough from land so that you won't pick anything up. There are times when at sea that some of the TV signals are lost for CNN, ESPN, etc. Does the Walkman play tapes?

Might be time to look into a good MP3 player. :)
