I was reading a post that you replied to and you mentioned that you took your twins to Disney when they were 22 months old. We are heading there this November w/our 22 month old twins and I wanted to ask you how it was when you took yours? Any advice and tips that you can give me?

We are staying onsite and taking our 15 & 18 year old boys too, so the extra hands will be a big help. Did your twins enjoy the rides and did they have any favorites? I would love to hear how your trip went. We have been to Disney numerous times but taking the twins will be a new experience---to say the least-LOL!!!

P.S. I think it is wonderful that you have gone to Disney w/your twins numerous times at such young ages. You inspire me---I'm a bit nervous about taking them at such a young age.

I would appreciate any responses regarding taking toddler twins to Disney. Thanks!!!!

Our twins will be a few days shy of 4 months old for our trip in October, so I am interested in any words of wisdom. Before you jump to the conclusion that we are crazy, and we may be, we took our 2 yr old daughter when she was 4 months old. The challenge this time will be keeping up with our 7 yr old son, 2 yr old daughter and the new twins.

OK, you can call us crazy now.

I think that is wonderful that you are going w/your twins too. I am such a Disney fan and have been there many times so we are familiar w/what rides we like (and of course, there are always new ones) and the surrounding area. I think my twins will enjoy it---as I took both my sons there when they were around 2. They did well--it's just different as there are "two" this time. It will be an ADVENTURE---that is for sure. :)

The reason we are taking this trip is: We told my oldest son that he could pick anywhere for a vacation (as he will be going off to college the following year) and he picked this. I think it is GREAT that he did. As we have the little ones too and what better place for the whole family.

I would so love to hear twin comments on trips to Disney.

P.S. GaTech: CONGRATS on your twins!!!! :)

Hi, kymi and GaTech! I love meeting other parents of twins! And, GATech, apparently we live in the same neck of the woods. I have DD 18 (starting college this fall), DS 15 (just started driving  ), and twin DS 8 (going into 3rd grade). We also took our twins around the age of 2 - they loved anything and everything in Fantasyland. Some characters they approached - others they wanted nothing to do with. I would definitely recommend separate strollers - it's more hassle, but they can each rest more comfortably that way than if they are in a double.

PS - GaTech - my DS 15 wants to go there when he graduates!

fanofmickey, We may live in the same neck of the woods but as I leave the office now and get into traffic, it would take me forever to get to Woodstock! We live in Gwinnett. I hope your DS goes to GT and you DD 18 is not going up the road to to be a puppie! I say that in jest because my wife is a Bulldawg.

Thanks for the stroller tip!

Actually, DD is going to live at home at go to Kennesaw - she to be a history major and teach (high school). I grew up in Gwinnett County - Lilburn, to be exact. And yes, you're right - as the crow flies we may not be too far, but that traffic - YIKES!

Hello twin parents!

We have two sets of twins. When we go to WDW this September they will be 8 and 3. This will be their first trip to Disney and I am trying to make it very special. I really don't know what it is like to have 1 child. I have always considered the first year of twins as boot camp. After that I think it is easier than just one child. They always have a buddy.

My first set is identical and the second is fraternal boy/girl. We lost one of the older boys in Home Depot several years ago ago and they asked what does he look like and I had his brother right there: I pulled him up and said he looks like him!

Well we all started looking for him and they would see his twin and say there he is and I would say no that " he is not the one" over and over. Eventually we found him.

If you identical twins you don't need a picture ID if you lose one!!
