When did you do your flush? There's no way our daughter is going to doing it at 6 or 7 am, and evenings are our favorite time in the parks. I was wondering about an afternoon break? Or maybe doing it at say 8 and then just doing a late entry to the park around 10 or 11? But then how would that work with park hopping? From start to finish (from mixing up her solution, to cleaning up after, it's normally 75 minutes.

I am sorry to not be familiar with the process, but is this something that can be done at first aid? They do have private rooms and bathrooms.

No, as it requires sitting on a toilet for an hour, so we have a special toilet seat we use, plus we would need to be lugging in a whole bunch of supplies, medicine etc...

What is her usual time? I would think trying to stick as close to usual routine may be best. Could you take a park break at that point? If appropriate, maybe tied-in as an extended meal/rest break. Good luck! Traveling with extra medical care can be challenging the first few times.

Unfortunately, 8:00 or 8:30 pm. Which would mean we couldn't do evenings in park. Our plan is to take the month before we go and slowly move her back to the time we'll use in Florida.

Just a thought, but if you are staying onsite, then consider moving her times to noon/midnight - that way, you could do a wee bit in the Parks around rope drop, slip back to the Resort at lunchtime (when things are often busy anyway) You will get back to the Parks no later than 3 (which still works with Park Hopper - you can hop anytime after 2:00 pm) and then be back at the Resort by Midnight, which gives a bit of extra time in case you are at Disney Springs, or decide to stop by the QS for a late-night snack.

The main thing I would do regardless of when y'all decide to time the procedure at the hotel is to let Housekeeping and Security know, so that they don't interrupt with a "room check" during that time period. They should be able to work around that for you.

We're going to be staying off site. But I'm thinking yeah, a lunch-time flush may work best. We could leave parks around 1:00, do her flush, have a swim, then head back in around 4ish, to the new park.

Though, are there parks that still aren't opening until 10 or 11?

I wish we could just do one full day per park, but I don't think it's possible this time, $-wise or time wise. Though maybe we could do a full day for MK, a full day for one other park and then just take one day and split two parks... if that was the case, which two parks would you split, and which one would you add as the second full day?

I agree your only choice is to go back to your resort for the flushing. What is available in the parks sounds like it would not meet your needs.
I don’t remember anyone else detailing what‘s available, so thought it might be helpful to do it. The Companion Restrooms are private restrooms with a sink and a toilet, but they have ‘public handicapped restroom’ type toilets - raised seat toilet with just a large pipe at the back, which which probably not give a secure way to attach your child’s toilet seat. They are also usually quite busy with a line often waiting to get in and people knocking on the door every few minutes while we are inside.
First Aid also has Companion Restrooms, either 1 or 2 per location. Other than location, they are similar to the Companion Restrooms in other parts of the parks.

Right now, AK is open 8am to 7 pm, MK and AK 9 to 9 and Epcot 10am to 10pm.
With park hopper tickets, guests can currently hop from their Reserved park for the day to a second park after 2 pm. Keep your parking receipt to avoid being charged again for parking when you return/park hop.

MK has the most rides/attractions, so definitely a full day. Some people actually spend 2 days at MK, or an additional 1/2 day there after the first full day.
My suggestion would be to look at what each park has to offer and what your family would like to see/go on. Some people consider AK and Hollywood Studios to be 1/2 day parks because of the small number of rides. But, many of the rides in those 2 parks also have long wait times.
Some shows have limited numbers of showings per day that you would need to work around if you want to see them - like Festival of the Lion King at AK or Beauty & the Beast at Hollywood

Yes, we've always done 2 or 3 MK days in the past. But this is an uber budget trip as we're doing some other things, too, so it's going to be more of a "pick our faves" trip. We do want to try FOLK and BB shows this time!

To add to Sue's thoughts about splitting time- a lot of families with young children don't feel Epcot to be their "thing" the same way MK is. It's all up to your preferences, not just rides, but interest level and favorites to do.

Yes.. honestly when they were little we weren't thrilled with Epcot. But this last time we loved it.

What are your thoughts on:

Day 1: AK morning. Leave at 12:00 for lunch and flush. HS for evening, hopefully getting there around 4-4:30.

Day 2: AK morning. Leave at 12:00 for lunch and flush. EP evening, again, hopefully arriving around 4:00.

Day 3: MK all day, taking afternoon break.

Personally, I would do MK and HS as full days, and split Epcot and AK - but that's because I am an old Rabbit who does not love rides as much as smaller human children do!

It sounds like if you are doing 3 days, consider a "hopping" on *2* days - so all day at MK, then day 2 could be Epcot/HS and day 3 could be AK/wherever you want to go back to the most!

Haha, we posted at the same time! I just posted a possible plan above!

I do not have familiarity with this, but you mentioned moving the time back slowly to the time you will use in Florida. Be mindful if you live in a different time zone that you account for the time change when adjusting times.

I think that's a great plan!

And you know your family better than anyone else - even though I know you have told the kids that it will be a "hit the high points" kind of trip, it's hard on youngsters when they *see* their favorite rides/attractions so close, and yet... can't... do... it... mom...

Even though we have to make our park reservations now, as long as there is availability you can "hop" to any Park that is "open" on Hopper days. So it does give you flexibility; you can "hop" to all 4 Parks in one afternoon if you are really serious about it (although I don't recommend it LOL)

Just remember that no matter how the trip goes, y'all are at Disney World together. Have the very best time you can, and I hope that the grown-ups have fun too!!!
