Question for Castle Suite Winners

I was just curious about the amenities for the castle suite.

Do they offer room service, a concierge, etc..?

and are you "locked in" for the evening-is there a "curfew?"

Just wondered what's stopping winners from exploring the park after hours?

Also, what's the window view like?

Hi. We won the Castle Suite Feb 07. I have a whole post on it http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1379587which should answer most of your questions. But here are some specific answers:

There's no real room service, but they did have three containers of milk waiting for us (after we requested it) for the baby. I'm sure if we needed something else like that, they would have supplied it.

You are not "locked in" but you aren't allowed to wander around by yourself either. There is a 24 hr. concierge who lives in the castle (not in your suite, but in the building) so when you want to leave the suite, you just give them a ring on the phone, and they escort you out. You are always with a guide in the park from the moment you win. You don't wait on any lines. The only curfew I was told about was that you had to be in the suite within 3 hrs (I think that was the number) after the park closed.

The view from the windows was awesome! YOu can see various parts of disney- frontier land, fantasy land. The windows are leaded and stained glass so it is a little difficult to see out, especially at night. But there is no mistaking where you are!

They had a concierge, we didn't ask for anything (but I had the idea that we could have if we wanted).

We were told we needed to be getting back after the park emptied it's last guest. I would say we were locked in after that. You can''t just leave your room.

I could barely see out the windows.
