Assuming the packages EVER become available...I'd like to know what time you prefer to see the 'show' and what time you prefer to eat dinner.

Do you like to see the processional at say, 5, and then have a relaxing dinner without watching the clock. Or do you prefer to have dinner and then catch a later presentation?

Appreciate your thoughts!

Hi there! The first year we went, we went to the first showing and it was still light out, which I think takes a little something away from the ambiance of it being a candlelight program. I would recommend eating early, and going to a later show.

It's wonderful any time you do it though! Enjoy!

The packages became available at the beginning of Sept. last year. They typically come out sometime in Sept.
Assuming that you will not have any children with you that would affect your choice of times....I would see the 6:45 show and schedule your dinner for 7:50 or 8:00. We saw the 6:45 show and had plenty of time for a nice leasurely stroll over to Canada to eat at Le Cellier at 8:00. The CM on the dining line may tell you that you have to make your ADR for a time before the CP but you don't. It is also more difficult to get a table for a party of two than it is for a party of 3 or more. Le Cellier and Rose and Crown fill up fast so you want to call as soon as you know they are open for ADR's for the CP packages. If you do want to eat before you see the CP plan on arriving at the theater at the American Pavillion at least 30 min before your show time. Depending on where you are eating, that can mean making your ADR for 1.5-2 hours before show time. You have to give yourself time to make it allllllll the way around that lagoon if necessary. The CP is a must do if you are going at that time. Just don't get your hopes up even if you end up with an excellent speaker on the day you want to go. Last year we were supposed to have Jim Caveziel (Jesus) and he got moved to later in Dec. and we ended up with Jaci Vasquez. I have heard that Phalysha(?) Reshad(Ms. Huxtable) and Eartha Kitt, Edward James Olmos, Lou Diamond Phillips, Marlee Matlin and Jim Cavezeil are awesome speakers. Good Luck.

We ate first (Alfredos) then saw the show, it was a perfect night.

We liked going to the 6:45 show and 8:00-8:15 dinner. That way you do not have to worry about the time during dinner. We also liked to have them box up the leftovers & dessert and take it back to the room. We had a fridge at BWV and had the leftovers for lunch the next day.
