Question for BCV experts...

[dvc at last !]

Today I made reservations for our September-October trip.
I received an e-mail reservation confirmation that said 2BV.
When I went to MyDVC and looked at View Vacation Details
it says 2BR/1Q & 1 Sofabed in 2nd BR. Is that a lockoff ?
Does anyone have the Resort info to see where these are located in the Resort, how many there are, and the views.

We had a room like this at BCV in November and it was a dedicated, not a lock-off. I'm not sure if all of them are that way but I would call MS to make sure that you get the type of room that you wanted. We were traveling with all 5 of our kids so we definitely needed a dedicated and I did request that when booking.

And yes, there are dedicated 2 BRs at BCV that have 2 queens in the 2nd BR, and there are dedicated 2 BRs with a queen & sofa bed. There is another thread going today on this same topic.

I just switched to a 2br at BCV yesterday and the cm told me it was a dedicated 2br with 1 queen bed and a sleeper sofa....my reservation the website comes up the same as yours.........but i don't know how a 2 br lockoff would come up.....i'd check with member services in the morning to see what type of 2br you have

My reservation (through RCI) comes up in WDW's site as a 2BR. Nothing else. It was deposited at 11 months so I'm hoping for 2Q in the 2nd BR.

I don't think you'll get one through RCI. I believe those aren't deposited, they go to members.

A two bedroom lockoff would say 2-BR Lockoff.

Generally the 2Qs go first and if they aren't available, won't be offered. You can call to check, but there aren't many of them and they tend to book quickly.
