Question - Drinks on the dining plan

We just got back from our 1st trip and I did not notice any specialty drinks on the menus for the dining plan, such as smoothies, slushies, etc. I know you could get these for snacks at some places. Can you get these at CS or TS restaurants too? We were ordering iced tea or coke the whole time, but I noticed some people had fruity drinks. (I'm guessing non-alcoholic). If you can get them, are they on the menu or do you have to know and ask? Thanks.

They wer offered to us at a few places - LeCellier, Kona, and Sci-Fi Diner are some off the top of my head.

Best bet is to ask up front if something you want is included.

Yup, the two places I know they're offered as beverages is Whispering Canyon (where they're bottomless ) and Prime Time Cafe (where they can be either beverage, dessert, or both!)

Absolutely!!!
If the server doesn't ask, I tell them I'm using the Disney Dining Plan and can they please tell me what my drink choices are. At Kona, you can get one non-alcoholic "specialty" drink, or unlimited refills of a "standard" beverage (Coke, coffee, iced tea...)

At Boma, I was allowed to get a cafe mocha for my drink at breakfast and they gave me Jungle Juice too. :


However, in the heat, unlimited iced tea usually sounds better than one smoothie.

We are going to WL next week...actually this week..on Saturday! One of our favorites spots is Prime Time Cafe. Am I to understand that the PBJ shake would be either a beverage OR a desert?...I know some people who are going to be VERY happy if this is the case!
