Question: December Park Hours and EMH in MK, Please help.

Hi.
I will be at MK on December 27, 2014.

I see that Disney lists the MK hours on December 27 from 8 am - 1 am.
It also says EMH, AM. Does this mean the MK will open at 7 am?

I'll be with my dd-21 that day/night prior to my dh/ds coming two days later and we plan on going to the park that day/night. I want to be there about 30 minutes prior to RD and then head back that evening and stay to closing. We are at BLT.

It means that MK will be open until 3AM for guests of WDW resorts.

It is UNlikely that MK will open at 6AM, however, but will open at 7AM for AM EMH.

i'm not sure where you are looking but directly on the disney world website it says that there is EMH and MK on december 26th from 7am-8am and 1am-3am.
so there's both morning and evening extra magic hours that day.
i assume thats what the AM/PM (2) refers to.

I got the date incorrect!

We are going to MK on December 27 (arriving December 26, ggrrr).
It does not state the same thing as December 26.

It looks like there is just an EMH in the morning on December 27, thus the 7 am opening. Does this look correct? Does Disney open the gates early on such crowded park days. For instance, have they even opened earlier than their scheduled time? Do you think my getting to the park at 6:30 am will be okay? I'd like to do most of Fantasy Land, Mountains and I have an 11:15 am or so Splash FP. The rest of my FPs are for 9 pm and later.

1. Yes, that is correct.

2. Sometimes a bit "early."

3. Yes, although earlier couldn't hurt. During very busy times, it's quite possible
that the time you are PLANNING to arrive and the time that you ACTUALLY arrive can be a bit "off."
