Question, availability of renting @ 7 months

Hi everyone!

We're looking into renting points for Dec 19-22 for a quick trip for hopefully a Christmas party this year. We've looked into purchasing DVC, but DH is finishing up school currently and we won't be able to afford purchasing until probably sometime next year. We were hoping to rent point for this trip to help us get a feel for DVC before we decide as well, though with how often we've been going and with us planning future trips it makes sense for us. For this trip we were hoping to rent at Boulder Creek since it seems like we end up at WL for lunch, to pin trade, or to take in the atmosphere anyway every time we go. I was hoping to wait a bit until dates are announced to be sure, but what are the chances of us being able to find availability at 7 months out?

That’s still low-point season for DVC and Wilderness Lodge is incredibly popular during the holiday season. I’d say you’re already out of luck if you want a studio there.

Chances of a studio at 7 months anywhere save maybe SSR or OKW is near 0.

Thanks. Hopefully We'll be able to find something. I was hoping to wait and confirm party dates, but it looks like we may have to take our chances if we decide to go.
