i looked up airfare prices dates and times as a guest and gave me one flying in from NY on continental, flying back from Orlando on jet blue, it does mention to book through a TA, is it really complicated if i do it myself? i mean they (website) give you all the codes, how hard can it be? and how do i do this on my own? call the airlines directly?

You should be able to find and book the same fares on the airline's own website if you look as soon as you see them on ITA (as in, within 5 minutes or so.) Be sure to look at the fare detail screen on ITA to be sure of the fare class you are looking for.

If you can't find the flight online, then call the airline and give them all of the flight info (including the fare class code) that you copied off ITA. They will charge you for booking over the phone, but normally less than you would pay a TA to book it for you.
