Question about WL?

I will be staying at CBR for a week at the end of August. I wanted to stay at WL, but couldn't talk DH into spending the extra $. So, since I'm not staying there, I would really like to visit WL and have a look around.

Here is my question - Since I will have a car, I was thinking about driving to WL in the morning, parking there and looking around, and then taking the ferry to MK for the day. Is this frowned upon? If this is not cool then I won't do it, but I thought it would be a good way to get a "feel" for the place by touring the common areas and taking the ferry ride. I also thought it might help me talk DH into a future stay.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

MEK

We did it. We drove over, parked our car and took the ferry over to Fort Wilderness to see the petting zoo and then took the ferry back over. We were not given a time limit.

Just ask at the guard booth. We were given the ok to park and visit the parks after meals at 1900, Cape May Cafe, Kona Cafe, and Whispering Canyon in May. The only places we were given parking tags were the GF and Poly -- and neither had times on them. The CM's at all of the resorts did not act at all funny when we asked about going to the parks after our meal.

Tell your husband that WL will change his view on the $$$. WL is flat-out one of the best themed places and it's really an experience for the kids.

Thanks to everyone for your input. I don't have a burning desire to stay at most of the deluxes, but I really want to try WL. Maybe next time.
