Question about Wishes Dessert Party

I asked this in another thread, but I may have missed a response.

We've been planning on doing OOP for dining all along, but if s/p/d comes out, we may take advantage of that offer. My eldest will be almost 10 when we travel. All 3 of my kids (almost 10, 7, almost 4 when we travel) are adventurous eaters, and I don't think they will enjoy being limited to the kid menus. As a result, OOP with the option to split entrees at some restaurants, etc. would probably be a good option. It was also suggested to me that we could have our TA call and upgrade the almost 10 and 7 yo to adults for dining purposes if s/p/d comes out, and that it probably won't be an issue.

If we go ahead and do that, will it screw up my reservation for the TT Wishes Dessert party? Right now we are booked at 2 adults, 3 kids. They will all be under 10 when we travel, but again, we may upgrade the older two to adults if we can (frankly, I wish I could do the same for my almost 4 yo!) under S/P/D. I'm wondering if I'll need to change our reservation to include them as "adults" for the dessert party, or if it doesn't matter since that event is OOP and separate from the dining plan.

Sorry for the odd question. This is why I kind of would like to stay with OOP for meals, but s/p/d would be very tempting!
