Question about webcertificates?

Can someone tell me if your are sent another card when your card expires or do you have to buy another one? My expires in August and we're not going on vacation till Septmember.TIA April

The last time mine expired, they sent me another one, but I did have to contact them and ask for it. There was no charge.
