Question about Visa's Previous New Year Offer? Please Help!!

I was wondering if it is possible to use a AAA discount with the package? Yhe last two years they have had the free upgrade from base tickets. I was wondering if I can get the AAA discount first and then add the tickets when/if the ticket upgrade offer becomes available.
