Are they still doing the disney visa meet and greet? We got a thing in the mail about getting a disney visa and there was nothing about the meet and greet in it. The only thing that was extra was that if we decided to get the card, they would send us a Bambi DVD. Just curious if it was just a beginning of the summer thing

We went on Sunday. It was great. We weren't sure what character would be there. It is behind a closed off area at Epcot. My family and I walked in and there stood Mickey, Minnie and Goofy.

I walked in and Mickey gave me a kiss. It was one of the high points of the trip.

You can then go to the photo store under the ball. We went right away and picked up our free photo.

It was wonderful.

We went last week on our honeymoon/wedding trip. Mickey and Minnie were very excited about the wedding the next day! :rotfl2:

You won't receive info about Disney Visa offers unless you already have the card. So hurry and apply!

Meet and greet is in epctot and up and running through september 2006. You will be required to show your card prior to entering and will receive a 5x7 picture free. Limit of 6 people in party to enter with 1 card. I believe the characters have been mickey, minnie, and pluto but is subject to change. It is added onto the photopass so you can always purchase/order more pictures from home after your trip if you want to.

First I've heard of this. Where is the meet and greet? We'll be there in Feb. Do you have to sign up or just show up? Thanks :wave2:

If you are going to apply, make sure you use the $50 link posted somewhere on this board - maybe Budget?? Just search, I'm sure you will find it.

Right now it is just through September or October--maybe they will extend it if it is really popular!

OOPS-- Must have missed the 06 on my information!-Sorry!

It's in innoventions in EPCOT...it was awesome; we just did it last week! I brought my disney VISA and the little certificate for the free pic that I got in my monthly statement. A room with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy....and JUST our family. (well, and the group of photographers, LOL!)

Do you have to have the certificate or just the card for the free photo? I got an email about the photo but I never got any certificate of any kind.

no certificate required - just your visa card. Have fun!!!!!!! We are planning this in October! I also missed the 06 part too until I went back and looked at it again. :)

If my husband and I both have a card but it is the same account will we get one picture or two if we both show our card?

You will get 1 picture per account - even if you both have a card - if separate accounts then you would each get a picture.

Dos anyone know the hours of the meet and greet? We want to go to it in the mid afternoon.

So your saying we can get a free picture with our card. But did I also hear right that we can come back and do it again on the next day as well?

yes, you can get a free pic...

I don't know about going back again...I thought it was a one-time thing!

You can go once every 30 minutes if you so choose... there was no limit on the number of times that you can go!!! I specifically asked about this!!! I only did it 3 times on our 10 day trip, but that was due to me not being in EPCOT at the right times!!!
The characters change every 30 minutes... Twice we had Mickey and Pluto and once we had Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy. The CM told us that Mickey was always in the room, but the rest of the characters change every 30 minutes. There is no schedule for the characters and the CM's didn't even know who would be in there next.
Hope This Helps!!!
